Great Day

The Concierge

Yesterday was great. The audience were very supportive. The ballroom was jammed packed with more than 600 people. The audience were so excited. Noise echoing from the people chatting all over the place before the function started. Introducing and knowing each other. Shaking hands with each others. Meeting with old friends and friends who stayed far away. Here we gather with one purpose. To get the very best from all of us and to bring out the very best in ourselves. They talked about their work, their plan, their free time activity and so on. The people dressed smart like VIPs.

At 10am the seminar started. We dance before the presentation started. It was lot of fun. Then the speaker was called and along the course, the audience supported and greeted the speaker by shaking and waving their hands. Even there were some hugged the speaker. It was a great moment. The speaker was once held a managerial position in one of the prestige company. The audience listen with enthusiasm. Sometimes the ballroom was silence, only the voice of the speaker echoing inside the ballroom. The speaker shared his experience and knowledge in organized manner. The speaker was seemed prepared thoroughly before his speech. The participants absorbing as many information and knowledge as possible. And most of the time, the audience gave feedback to the speaker and the ballroom roared like at a football stadium when Liverpool scored unto MU (no offense to MU fans... huhu).

We had our appetizing lunch at the hotel. Chicken, fish (but i didn't know the name of the dishes) and much more. I love the fish as for you to know. It was like finger licking good. We, the committee, were like the food tester as my other friend said because we had our lunch earlier than the participants. So we had our insight on how the food taste like before others can taste it.

After lunch, again we had our dancing play for the food to digest (is it really true?) so that we won't feel sleepy when the speaker gave his speech. This speaker was once a chartered accountant. There were a lot of emotions involved in his speech that gave a good effect to the audience. And the audience listened and touched with his speech. Sad, happy, funny and enthusiasm what they were all got from it.

At around 5.30pm, we had our high tea outside the ballroom. The seminar was over. Everyone went home with ideas and high in spirit inside their human body, mind and soul. It gave so much impact to all of us on our future.

The bedroom

It was a great place to overnight though. Just to show how beautiful it is (Beautiful isn't it?). I slept at home as for you to know.

It was a great experience and the seminar ran smoothly. All in all it was great and was very fun day. I enjoyed every second of it...

Seminars CAN lift spirits, give ideas an new energy - the good ones, that is. The hard part comes after that - can they make it work?

And it goes for almost any kind of seminar.
